Care Inspectorate Annual Inspection Report
03.09.2024 | Bryan Smith
Our Housing Support service was subject to an unannounced inspection which took place from Tuesday 23 July to Thursday 25 July 2024. The inspection was carried out by one the Care Inspectorate.
The service was graded as 4 (Good), using a six point scale where 1 is Unsatisfactory and 6 is Excellent.
The key points of the inspection were:
- Staff & management were very good at developing meaningful relationships with people.
- Management & staff were passionate about maintaining high quality of care.
- The service continues to explore how it can evidence its person-centred approaches.
- As part of this inspection, the Care Inspectorate assessed the service's self-evaluation of key areas. They found that the service had made positive progress in completing its self-evaluation. The service should continue to develop this approach to support improvement, initially in relation to Core Assurances.
- There were good processes in place to enable professional discussion and reflection on practice.
- There was some very good partnership working being done with local authority and third sector provision.
The whole report is available on the Care Inspectorate's website https://www.careinspectorate.c... or through the widget at the bottom of this page.
The report is testament to the professional and commitment staff team we have, and we look forward to further developing and improving our services.
