Housing First Europe Hub Network Partnership Event

Over the last few days Transform Community Development participated in the Housing First Europe Hub Partnership Event in Lyon, France.

I had the privilege of hosting a workshop on how we scaled and mainstreamed Housing First in Dundee from the initial pathfinder project to one of the city’s core approaches for tackling and preventing homelessness.

During the visit, I spent time at Maison de la Veille Sociale, an organization providing practical support and advice to people in housing need, while maintaining vital data on homelessness across the Métropole de Lyon.

We were warmly welcomed by L’Autre Soie, whose inspiring work in Villeurbanne focuses on creating a thriving, inclusive community. You can explore their initiatives here

This event was an invaluable opportunity to share Dundee’s experiences and learn from colleagues across Europe (and beyond) particularly from France, the Netherlands, Finland, Brazil and even Fife!
