Recovery Open Day
Service users, families, board members, staff and partner organisations came together to celebrate recovery, resilience, and wellbeing at the our Recovery Day Open Day at Alasdair Macqueen House.
The day provided an opportunity for people to learn more about our services, meet, and hear inspiring stories from individuals who have overcome challenges and have built positive futures. Attendees were able to enjoy information stalls, Naloxone training, refreshments, activities (including t-shirt printing and an introduction to local wildlife by the RSPB), and opportunities to connect with others in the community.
Recovery Day highlights that recovery is possible for everyone and celebrates personal achievements while raising awareness of the support available to individuals experiencing difficulties with mental health, substance use, or other life challenges.
Catherine and the team would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the day. The day demonstrated the strength of community support and reinforced the message that no one has to face their journey alone.
