The Grand Forklift Gift

We’re thrilled to share that with the arrival of a new forklift at our FareShare Tayside & Fife warehouse, we had the opportunity to pass on our older vehicle to a valued partner. We were delighted to gift the forklift to our friends at Dundee Bairns, who do incredible work supporting some of the most vulnerable children in Dundee.

Dundee Bairns’ vital efforts reach across community projects, school groups, and essential services, helping ensure that no child in the city goes without. It’s an honour to support their work in this small way.

A huge thank you to our Logistics & Warehouse Manager, David Nicoll, and Genna Millar, Project Manager at Dundee Bairns, for coordinating the donation — and to Jim Pickett for arranging transportation of the forklift.

As a heartfelt thank-you, we were deeply moved to receive a beautiful poem from Dundee Bairns, which we will cherish. It’s a wonderful reminder of the power of working together to support our communities.
