Transform Furniture has been reviewing our operation to make it more effective for those customers who purchase items from our retail unit at 20 Victoria Road and those who received furniture via referral.

Delivery will remains free for all of those within the circled area; which includes

• Dundee
• Monifieth
• Invergowrie
• Fowlis
• Birkhill/Muirhead
• Bridgefoot
• Tayport
• Newport-on-Tay
• Wormit

Outwith these areas, a set charge of £20 will be levied.

Collections of used furniture from our donors remain free. We are grateful for all donations and can guarantee that the furniture and proceeds from the sale of furniture is used to support those in Dundee who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. You can boast the value of your donation by using Gift Aid. The Gift Aid scheme allows us to claim back the tax that you pay, as a donor, when you earn the money from which you make the donation. Eligible donations from UK taxpayers attract Gift Aid at a rate calculated in accordance with the basic rate of income tax. So with basic rate income tax at 20%, an eligible £10.00 gift from a UK taxpaying donor is worth £12.50 in the hands of a charity after Gift Aid is reclaimed. A form is available from the van crew who collect your furniture, by request when booking a collection or downloaded via our website.

We are also streamlining our pricing, so it will be consistent, fair and in line with others within the furniture reuse environment.
